Jacket or Blazer: what’s the difference?

Our customers often ask this question, and we have noticed that there is some confusion about the difference between these two garments.

The jacket is generally part of a suit. Nothing prevents you from using it alone, but its identity is linked to the suit itself!

The Blazer, on the other hand, is a garment with its own identity, perfect to use with different outfits even in less formal contexts.

Compared to the jacket, the blazer is usually shorter, with more varied patterns and unlined.

Choosing the fabric

The first step is choosing the fabric: Tasmania, Cashmere, Velvet, Tweed, virgin wool from the best wool mills in the world, linen, and many other special and unique fabrics. At our showroom, or at your home if you want to use of our home service, you can choose among all of them.

The choice of lining is equally important: you can choose among hundreds of different patterns, to create a truly unique garment.

You can then choose, with the help of our advice, whether having a slim fit or classic line, change the width or the model of the revere, the number and color of the buttons, the consistency of the lining, the position and quantity of the pockets.
